PUNP implements the “open admission” policy to all students who are willing to take any of the programs being offered by the university in any given academic year. Being a non-sectarian university, PUNP welcomes all students interested in the pursuit of scholarly learning, regardless of race, creed, religion and personal circumstances.

Scholarships
Keeping up to its commitment to providing equitable access to quality education for all, PUNP Tayug offers wide-range of scholarship grants for our students. Scholarships are given to deserving students on the basis of merit, talent, and/or performance.
To apply for scholarships, students are required to submit application with necessary documentary attachments. Refer to the list below on the available scholarship grants.

These are awarded to students who are able to take the scholarship examination given before the beginning of each academic year. This is also awarded to freshmen who graduated with distinctions (i.e. with honors, with high honors, with highest honors) in SHS.

These are scholarships awarded to students based on special privileges bestowed by the university on the basis of talent and skills.

Scholarship Grants
Loyalty Scholarship. Given to incoming freshman students who graduated SHS at PUNP Tayug School of Basic Education. Scholars under this shall enjoy 50% discount from their tuition fee until they finish the program.
Ambassadorship Scholarship. Given to students crowned during the Search for Mr. and Miss PUNP.
Athletics Scholarship. Given to varsity players who are admitted to the varsity team. Extent of scholarship (up to 100% tuition fee discount) shall be determined by the coach based on the scholar’s athletic performance.
Performing and Cultural Arts Program Scholarships. Given to members of the University Chorale and other organized performing and cultural arts group. Extent of scholarship (up to 100% tuition fee discount) shall be determined by the chorale master/ program director.
This scholarship is awarded to deserving students who are proven to have a great need for assistance.
