College of Teacher Education envisions a community of world class educators with 21st century skills.
The College shall advance the teaching profession through exemplary programs in the science and art of teaching and learning such as the effective use of technology, provision of a responsive curriculum and research-based programs and community linkages and collaboration.
BEEd Program
The Bachelor of Elementary Education is an undergraduate program designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary level. It aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education. After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree / program, graduate of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level. The BEEd degree program draws from various allied disciplines like social sciences, science, math, technology, languages, and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi – disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy.
BSE Program
The Bachelor of Secondary Education is an undergraduate program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/ major in the secondary level. It aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education. After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree / program, graduate of BSEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the Secondary level. The BSEd degree program draws from various allied disciplines like social sciences, science, math, technology, languages, and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi – disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy.
BPEd Program
The Bachelor of Physical Education is an undergraduate program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/ major in the secondary level. It aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education. After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree / program, graduate of BSEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the Secondary level. The BSEd degree program draws from various allied disciplines like social sciences, science, math, technology, languages, and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi – disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy.
