PUNP Tayug conducts workplace fire safety webinar

Undoubtedly, fire is one of the most common and harmful disasters that happens in our country. With the effort to maintain PUNP to be a safe and secured workplace, the Office of the Operations Vice President through the Safety and Security Services Office together with the Bureau of Fire Protection initiated a webinar on workplace fire safety on 27th of January 2022 via zoom. The said activity was followed by a demonstration on operating a fire extinguisher with the aim of enhancing the capacity of the PUNP workforce on fire safety, prevention and emergency response.
FO2 John Kristoffer D. Mamaril and FO1 Michael Mounier Sanchez of Tayug Fire Station through the leadership of SFO2 Rommel A. Bassig conducted a workplace fire safety webinar focusing on identifying fire hazards in the workplace, sharing workplace fire safety tips and enlightening the PUNP workforce on the proper use and maintenance of portable firefighting equipment.
